The original instrument belongs to the collection of the “Musikkollegium Winterthur.” However, it has been adapted to modern performance practices, which involved modifying its construction, and all of its original components have been lost. The neck is original, but it has been extended and its angle altered. During this modification, the profile of the fingerboard was also reworked. Reconstructed to its original state, it has a vibrating string length of 37 cm, which corresponds to an average length. All components are crafted based on models of preserved originals. This instrument can also be proportionally scaled up to a body length of 41.5 cm.
